Adult Volunteer Positions


Click the button next to a position to go to a page that describes the position in more detail.  All volunteers must submit an application including references which will be checked, have a criminal background check each year, and take annual training on State Department regulations regarding exchange programs..

 

Volunteer positions include the following:

 

Rotary Club Youth Exchange Officer

  A Rotarian who oversees the youth exchange activities within that club

 

Counselor

  A Rotarian who keeps in touch with a specific inbound student throughout the school year.

 

Area Coordinator

  A Rotarian who oversees the youth exchange activities for all the Rotary Clubs, Schools, and Host Families in their assigned area.

 

Youth Exchange Committee Member

  A Rotarian or non-Rotarian who helps to plan and carry out activities throughout the year for inbound and/or outbound students.

  

Inbound Chair

  A Rotarian Youth Exchange Committee Member who is in charge of the inbound students.

 

Outbound Chair

  A Rotarian Youth Exchange Committee Member who is in charge of the outbound students.


Short Term Chair

  A Rotarian Youth Exchange Committee Member who is in charge of the short term students.
 

District Rotary Youth Exchange Chair

  A Rotarian who is the leader of the Youth Exchange Program and Committee.
