What is a Club Youth Exchange Officer?

The Club Youth Exchange Officer (YEO) oversees the youth exchange program for their Rotary Club.  The YEO may also be a Counselor for a student.

Responsibilities:

  Training each year on State Department regulations related to exchange programs

  Appoint the Counselor for each inbound exchange student hosted by the club.  (A counselor of the same gender as the student is preferred, but not required).

  Ensure that each inbound student hosted by the club receives an allowance every month

  Keep the club informed about the exchange program

  Assist in finding host families for each inbound student
